Technical Lead - Google SecOps (all genders)

We are looking for a Tech Lead (all genders) based in Germany to drive the design and implementation of our newly built security services around Google SecOps. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our security offerings, ensuring they are cutting-edge, scalable, and market-leading. 

As a Technical Lead, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, including security engineers, detection engineering, and operations teams, to develop and refine our security solutions. You will also work hand-in-hand with the product owner team to align our services with industry best practices and customer needs, ensuring that we deliver a top-tier Google SecOps service that stands out in the market.

The role can be performed from anywhere in Germany and we'd be happy if you can join us promtly.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of the Google SecOps service
  
• Collaborate with Service Design teams to improve the process and technical aspect of the service including threat detection, incident response, and compliance monitoring
  
• Establish a customer onboarding plan
  
• Develop and optimize security automation workflows, reducing manual intervention
  
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship
  
• Automate detection, response, and remediation processes using SOAR and scripting
• Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues

Skills & experience you should bring along:

• Deep understanding of Google Cloud Security services as well as several years of experience with deploying Google SecOps
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, and/or threat intelligence tools
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR)
• A problem-solving mindset as well as the openness to exploring new technologies and challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement and innovation
• The ability to lead and collaborate across teams
• A Self-driven working style and the ambition to take initiative as well as inspire others to achieve common goals
• Strong communication skills in both English AND German (language level B2 and above) to foster collaboration and ensure ideas are heard and transformed into impactful solution
