Job Description
Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Director (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to
- Conduct risk and security assessments of Visa suppliers to identify, validate, and address risks.
- This may involve conducting interviews, assessing design documents, and conducting walkthroughs of key controls.
- Perform ongoing monitoring of vendor security posture, including remote/onsite assessments.
- Perform architectural reviews for of critical systems and infrastructure to identify security gaps/issues and provide recommendation(s) for remediation.
- Lead incident management for critical vulnerabilities or breaches.
- Foster trusted relationships with business partners, Visa IT executives, security and compliance officers, and other team members to obtain consensus approvals on strategies, recommendations, findings, and project plans.
- Evaluate the performance of team members, providing feedback, and helping team members set and achieve performance goals.
- Work with each one to bring optimal results, while ensuring career growth and personal achievement.
- Identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities to enhance Visa's 3PTRM processes and introduce innovative approaches and solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute towards process improvement of team processes, templates, and tools.
- Position has direct reports.
- Position requires travel. Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, followed by 10 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, and 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- Position requires experience in the following:
- Performing Cybersecurity security assessments and working with Cybersecurity teams to address and remediate identified control weaknesses;
- Conducting assessments in cloud security, vulnerability management, threat detection and response, and application security;
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders to collect, analyze, and report on controls effectiveness posture for large and complex systems;
- Assisting large organizations, defining, and establishing enterprise-wide cybersecurity controls compliance program, including reporting requirements and appropriate security metrics to monitor and demonstrate the efficacy of cybersecurity controls;
- Utilizing the following tools: ServiceNow, Tableau, PowerBI, Microsoft Office Suite, Burp Suite and Qualys;
- Information security regulatory requirements, such as PCI DSS and ISO 27001;
- Enterprise risk management and strategy frameworks; and
- Project Management Methodologies

Worksite: Austin, TX
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: International travel required 15% of the time to perform onsite assessments of vendors
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $188,200.00 USD to $301,300.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
