Portfolio Compliance Enablement Leader

The Opportunity  

As an Assistant Director of Compliance Reporting within the Information Security Portfolio Compliance Enablement function at EY, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of all compliance reporting needs. This role involves overseeing the development, consolidation, effectiveness, and delivery of compliance reports to ensure that stakeholders are informed of the organization's compliance posture, risks, and progress towards compliance objectives. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance reporting strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and compliance requirements. 

  • Lead the consolidation of compliance data from various sources to produce accurate and insightful compliance reports. 

  • Oversee the creation and enhancement of regular and ad-hoc compliance reports for internal stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and external partners. 

  • Ensure that compliance reporting processes are efficient, scalable, and capable of adapting to changing regulatory and business needs. 

  • Collaborate with IT, compliance, and business teams to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting capabilities. 

  • Manage a team responsible for the preparation and delivery of compliance reports, providing guidance and support as needed. 

  • Establish and maintain standards for compliance reporting, including templates, guidelines, and best practices. 

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of compliance reporting, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation. 

Skills and Attributes for Success 

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing compliance reporting within Information Security or a related field. 

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement effective reporting strategies. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Effective English language communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with various stakeholders and presenting compliance information. 

  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools. 

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, PCI DSS, and understanding of regulatory requirements. 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

 

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have 

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, with a focus on reporting and data analysis. 

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related discipline. 

  • Relevant certifications such as CRISC, CISA, CISSP, or equivalent. 

  • A proven track record of developing and managing compliance reporting functions within a large, complex organization. 

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with reporting and data visualization tools. 

 

Ideally, You’ll Also Have 

  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. 

  • The ability to adapt to new challenges and rapidly evolving regulatory landscapes. 

  • Strong leadership presence and the ability to inspire and motivate teams. 

  • Experience in change management and driving the adoption of new reporting tools and processes.
