As a member of the COE (Center of Excellence) team, the Senior IT SOX Analyst will play a key role in our SOX program by partnering with the COE IT Compliance operations teams to perform effectiveness testing of key control activities to ensure compliance with control objectives and the effective operation of IT controls over financial reporting systems. The Analyst will assist in the continued refinement, timely completion, and ongoing maintenance of all IT SOX 404 documentation (process flows, narratives, and risk matrices).Job Description
About the Role:
- Lead in performing ITGC walkthroughs for critical financial reporting applications and supporting infrastructure, and assessing the effectiveness of the controls (Tests of Design)
- Test ITGCs in accordance with defined test attributes and guidance (Tests of Effectiveness).
- Prepare and maintain testing work papers in the SOX team’s audit management tool.
- Lead in performing roll-forward and remediation testing.
- Prepare work papers to ensure consistency between test objectives, evidence obtained, and test results.
- Lead the evaluation of 3rd party SOC reporting and appraise coverage of user complementary control considerations
About You:
- 3+ years of experience assessing system architecture, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), IT Operations and Compliance, Information Security, and/or Technical Program Management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. May also hold an advanced or specialized degree and/or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, etc.) or license relevant to the profession and experience with audit frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT, NIST).
