What We Do
Keep Epic’s networks, hardware, and people safe from security risks. Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and encryption programs. Document issues as they arise and assess & report any impact caused.
What You'll Do
Epic Games is looking for a Threat Intelligence Manager to help grow our threat intelligence capabilities and provide support, both within the InfoSec department as well as across the business. You will drive the strategy, tooling, and analysis of intelligence related to Epic Games and the gaming and tech industries.
In this role, you will
- Provide vision and direction for threat intelligence tooling and overall capabilities
- Work with other InfoSec teams and external IR related departments to stay abreast of current threats and ensure response/triage capabilities
- Lead Threat Intelligence process improvement, streamline incident response procedures
- Oversee and own vendor relationships tied to Threat Intel
- Create clear and comprehensive reporting from investigative findings and operational trends
- Track and monitor for trends and actors in the gaming cheat community
- Work with various security tools, technologies and teams, to help with the daily analysis and triage of intelligence related to Epic Games and the gaming and tech industries
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of experience in threat intelligence, game security, or similar
- Industry standard certification(s) such as: GOSI, GCTI, GCIH, Security+
- Detailed knowledge of Information Security principles, technology and control processes
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Hands on experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure a cohesive and efficient response
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report writing and technical documentation
- Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing information related to investigative cases
- Experience with the preparation of reports for legal and/or law enforcement
- Experience with using collection tools, analytics and standard culling techniques to reduce the volume of potentially relevant data
This role is open to multiple locations across the US (including WA).
Pay Transparency Information
The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren’t limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic’s generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).
