Responsibilities & Skills

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior architects on high level architectural specifications, particularly providing advice from implementation feasibility perspective.

• Distill high-level requirements into functional-level requirements, provide specific architectural specifications in detail for the implementation team.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to implementation team members and oversee the progress of the overall project implementation.

• Collaborate with the project manager and stakeholders to define project requirements and address dependencies of the implementation team.

• Coordination between SoC design engineers, firmware engineers, and validation engineers to solve key problems.

Required Skills, Experience

• BS/MS/PhD in Electronics or Computer Engineering with minimum of 10 years’ experience of embedded SW/FW development on FPGA or MCU.

• Strong C/C++ on embedded system.

• Strong in problem analysis and joint debugging skills on hard or soft SoC System.

• Familiar with cryptographic algorithms and knowledgeable about their applications in the embedded field.

• Familiar with SoC Peripheral (SPI, I2C, UART, JTAG, etc.).

• Have knowledge at following areas:

  • Verilog/System Verilog and Static Timing Analysis.

  • FPGA design flow.

  • System bus (AXI, AHB, Wishbone etc.).

  • Simulation tools like Ncsim, Modelsim/Questasim.

• Must possess independent problem-solving skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with multiple groups.

• Must be a sense of responsibility and work actively.
