Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures to protect assets, data, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
• The team is responsible for operations in the data center, software deployment, and handling activities such as incident/change/problem tickets, as well as continuous improvements to services.

Scope of work:
• Work as part of the team or independently to implement and maintain solutions.

Qualifications

Education / Skills:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience with the following:

• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Defender solutions (Defender XDR)
• Administration of Endpoint/Extended Detection and Response (EDR/XDR) solutions
• Operation of Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Cloud, Identity, Cloud Apps, O365)
• Operation of Sophos Intercept X (EDR/XDR) and Sophos SG/XG Firewalls
• Installing and maintaining related tools

Desired Certifications:
The ideal candidate would have some of the following certifications:

• SC-900: Microsoft Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals
• SC-200: Microsoft Security Operations Analyst
• Sophos Certified Technician – Central Endpoint and Server

Languages:

• English - Upper Intermediate (B2)
• German – Advantage (Nice to have)

Other criteria or requirements:

• You are experienced in implementing IT solutions.
• You bring a hands-on mentality. You are organized in planning implementation steps and align with all relevant stakeholders.
• You are a team player.
