Infrastructure & Cloud Security Engineer

Assessing weaknesses within the Organization and building effective technical controls.

Job responsibilities:

- Ensures maintenance and hardening of workplace security controls, such as WAF, NG Firewall, NAC, Mobile Device Management, Anti-virus software, Patch management, Spam filters, and other relevant controls
- Examine effectiveness of implemented Information Security Systems
- Maintains Black/White lists of applications, ensure self-service system security
- Develops and maintains documentation for security systems, procedures, and security diagrams
- Analyzes existing security systems, suggest, and verify baseline security configurations for applications, OS, and security systems.
- Assist in assessing new security technologies and recommends possible implementation strategies
- Implement and improve technical controls to ensure secure handling and processing of sensitive data by employees or third party service providers, including enabling strict policies in technical controls to protect PII (Personally Identifiable Information) of employees and customers from unauthorized access, leakage, or misuse.
- Follow corporate standards or regulatory requirements for data encryption, secure exchange and destruction assessments as well as day-to-day operations for secure handling and processing of sensitive data, including PII (Personally Identifiable Information) of employees and customers.

Required skills:

- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related field

- Proficiency with software for preparing reports and presentations

- 3+ years of experience, specifically in information security of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, and

network protocols

- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and information security, both theory and practice

- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to manage sensitive and confidential information

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail

- Confidentiality in handling sensitive information
