Responsibilities:
- To ensure success, a Cybersecurity Engineer must display an excellent understanding of technology infrastructures using Firewalls, Networking, Windows and Linux Operating Systems, Security Tools, Data Loss Prevention, IDS/IPS, and Security Auditing. Top candidates will be comfortable working with a variety of technologies, security problems, and troubleshooting the network.
- Cybersecurity Engineer Responsibilities:
- Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of a client's data, systems, and networks.
- Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
- Installing and configuring security detection systems
- Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
- Performing a security audit on a client network
- Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls and best practices.
- Participating in the change management process.
- Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.
- Cybersecurity Engineer Requirements:
- A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification (Network+, Security+, CySA+, CISA, CISM, SCCP, CISSP, GICSP).
- 5+ years of work experience with networking, server management, incident detection, incident response, and/or forensics.
- Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), network, Endpoint Security.
- Familiarity with Rockwell Automation Hardware and Software.
- Create/Update Asset Inventory for all OT Network-connected, and standalone systems.
- Document network using NetBox.
- Experience with Claroty in OT (Manufacturing / Industrial Automation) network environment.
- Review Veeam backup/restore software implementation across network assets.
- Review and implement Endpoint Protection across network assets.
- Review Windows Update Server implementation across network assets.
- Review/Update network diagrams in Microsoft Visio.
- Review all Software licenses to ensure up-to-date coverage of all systems.
- Capacity planning for VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization Platforms.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience with networking, server management, incident detection, incident response, and/or forensics.
- Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), network, Endpoint Security.
- Familiarity with Rockwell Automation Hardware and Software.
- Windows and Linux experience.
- Proficiency in bash, and PowerShell.
- Knowledge of Risk management and Risk Analysis Tools
- Ability to work in a team environment in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
