Backend Developer

Description

Daniel TalWe are seeking a talented Backend Developer to join our team at Appdome. You will play a crucial role in evolving our SaaS platform into a scalable product composed of microservice components and external-facing APIs, supporting our growing scale. Additionally, you will design our next-generation infrastructure components, enhance our caching and database usage, and transform Appdome’s SaaS into a standard platform that can support an expanding customer base.

Our codebase is developed using Node.js with MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch. It is deployed over Docker containers on a Kubernetes cluster in AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver backend and API features for a globally distributed service.
• Create microservices to enhance product scalability.
• Continuously learn and evaluate new technologies to improve our products.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in Node.js development.
• Experience with MySQL or another relational database.
• Deep understanding of systems you have previously worked on.
• Experience working with AWS.

Advantages:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with Hapi.js.
• Experience with modern web development frameworks such as Angular or React.
