Sr. Manager Corporate Events Marketing
Deepwatch is seeking a Sr. Manager, Corporate Events Marketing that will support our sales team with the overall development and management of programs, campaigns, and activities that drive pipeline and revenue growth. This position reports to the VP, Field and Channel Marketing.
To be successful, this position requires a strong blend of ownership, organizational and adaptability skills, time management, attention to detail, flawless execution capabilities, ability to execute in a fast-paced environment, along with an ability to build and manage relationships both internally and externally. You’ll have 7-10 years’ experience working with a variety of sales teams and channel partner types.
In this role, you’ll get to:
- Align with Sales VPs and Enterprise Account Executives to understand the market trends and customize programs as needed to help drive quota attainment goals
- Work in a fast-paced environment and execute or support multiple events with competing and ever-changing priorities
- Manage both digital and in-person events successfully
- Execute and manage events (regional one-day events, trade shows, conferences, etc.), including logistics, budgeting, content development, scheduling, creative themes and social media strategies
- Provide event support on strategic employee programs, including annual conference, sales kick off, Town Halls, and presidents club
- Investigate and identify events and conferences targeted to Deepwatch target market
- Ensure event goals and lead acquisition strategies are aligned with sales objectives and messaging and graphics are consistent with the Deepwatch brand
- Track event results and metrics to measure success and investment, optimizing events as needed
- Coordinate and execute pre and post-event communications to target audience
- Work with marketing operations and sales to ensure leads are properly entered, routed, marketing nurtured and followed up on in a timely manner
- Possibly assist with other Alliance/ISV Partner-oriented events and activities, including but not limited to, joint seminars and webinars
- Serve as a role model of Deepwatch’s Core Values, and coaches and encourages others to model these values
- Embody the Deepwatch Leadership Attributes of ownership, delivering results, hiring & developing the best talent in the industry, having backbone and ability to disagree and then commit, and earning trust
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:
- Demonstrate a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Possess a working knowledge of demand generation and lead nurture strategies
- Are willing to wear many hats and quickly pivot based on changing priorities
- Are proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Are able to set up and break down booths and and are able to lift up to 25 lbs. (required)
- Have a strong sense of urgency
- Collaborate with and develop positive relationships cross-functionally
- Possess strong creative problem-solving skills and poise under pressure
- Leverage superior communication, interpersonal & project management skills
- Have a solid grasp of reporting and analyzing data
- Possess threat intelligence, XDR, EDR, VM, Intrusion Detection and Incident Response knowledge or experience
- Possess experience with Marketing Automation Platform and CRM systems; Salesforce.com and Hubspot preferable
- Are a skilled negotiator with proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget
- Possess writing skills appropriate for demand generation, in particular, campaign briefs, email, web, and social, newsletters, and campaign ads; both short form and long form
- Have people leadership experience
- Possess 7+ years in field marketing or event marketing
- Think strategically and deliver against business objectives
- Have a strong work ethic, highly responsive and dedicated to program results
- Are willing to travel up to 35-40% required as needed to support events and programs
