Paramount is seeking an Junior Security Operations Analyst to join its Global Information Security Group. This position will be a vital member of the Security Operations Center team, addressing information security matters globally using a wide variety of security tools. In this role you will primarily assist in investigating and analyzing response activities related to security incidents or events. Also, you will have the opportunity to work on security and technology initiatives with companywide reach.
What will you do:
- Work alongside other SOC Team members to effectively and timely respond and manage security incidents and alerts,
- Work in follow-the-sun model with team from other regions,
- Be the first point of contact for security events, anomalies, incidents, and user reports,
- Monitor, triage and respond to alerts produced by various security tools,
- Document the investigation process and actions taken from the initial detection to the final resolution,
- Escalate alerts to SOC Analyst or Senior SOC Analyst or relevant teams as necessary,
- Contribute to the development and improvement of SOC processes and procedures,
- Participate in post-incident reviews and suggest improvements.

We are looking for people that:
- Are curious, with a desire to learn and the ambition to quickly become a self-reliant, top-notch SOC Analyst,
- Are motivated and goal driven,
- Have good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills,
- Enjoy working in a team,
- Are proficient in Polish and can easily and openly communicate in English.
And on the technical side, we need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Cybersecurity or current education in the field of information security (or equivalent experience),
- 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity role,
- Knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, and email security tools,
- Knowledge of systems, networks, Active Directory, cloud and software,
- Knowledge of common malware threats and attack methodologies,
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and incident response process,
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to details.
We would also value if you:
- Have hands-on experience with SIEM and EDR tool,
- Have Cybersecurity certifications like CompTIA Security+, Blue Team Level 1 or equivalent.
