Auria is looking to hire a Software Engineer to support the development of the Enterprise Management & Control (EM&C) system for the Department of Defense (DOD) Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Enterprise. The primary work location is in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The ideal candidate will perform frontend development tasks to deliver new products and services to the EM&C system with a focus on modern, responsive UI/UX using Angular.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and testing responsive user interfaces using Angular based on tasks assigned through Agile workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, system engineers, and testers to ensure seamless integration, resolve frontend issues, and meet usability standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing Angular applications and implementing new features based on customer requirements and stakeholder feedback.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to frontend architecture decisions that ensure performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government SECRET security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and 7+ years of relevant experience
    • or Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Angular or other modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue).
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and RESTful APIs integration.
  • Understanding of frontend testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, Selenium).
  • Understanding of standard software development and management tools (e.g., Git/GitHub, Nexus, Eclipse).
  • Strong debugging and browser-based development tool skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including the ability to present UI solutions to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Proficiency with M.S. Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current U.S. Government SECRET security clearance.
  • Security+ certification or equivalent DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
  • Experience with responsive design frameworks such as Angular Material, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API integration and JSON-based data exchange in secure web applications.
  • Experience working with state management libraries in Angular (e.g., NgRx, Akita, or RxJS patterns).
  • Familiarity with DOD communications systems and secure web application environments (e.g., C2ISR platforms, SATCOM networks).
  • Experience supporting programs through requirements reviews, UI/UX design reviews, and customer demos.
  • Exposure to DevSecOps practices, including Git-based version control, automated builds, and frontend deployment pipelines.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket is highly desirable.

Pay Range: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level ($94,000 - $120,000)
