What You’ll Do

As a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our cloud-based solutions, including Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications in Azure and AWS. You will be responsible for implementing security best practices, identifying and mitigating cloud security risks, and working closely with cross-functional teams to secure our cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

 You’ll get to: 

  • Develop, implement, and manage cloud security standards and guidelines for COTS solutions in Azure and AWS.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address vulnerabilities in cloud environments.
  • Evaluate, specify, and select security configurations and monitoring tools for Azure and AWS.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into cloud deployment processes.
  • Monitor cloud security logs and alerts to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
  • Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and regulations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and compliance, to align cloud security measures with overall security objectives.
  • Provide expertise and support in cloud security during the development and implementation of new systems and applications.
  • Stay informed about the latest cloud security threats, trends, and technologies to enhance security measures.
  • Promote secure cloud computing best practices.
  • Collaborate with Application Security to incorporate common findings and remediations into the SDLC.

You also have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in cloud security, with a focus on securing COTS solutions in Azure and AWS.
  • In-depth understanding of cloud security concepts, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud security monitoring and management tools such as Rapid7 and Contrast Security.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
