Responsibilities
Your mission:
- Protect the company's information systems and networks from cyber threats.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents.
- Implement security measures to safeguard our digital infrastructure.
- Monitor network traffic and system activity for potential security threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure secure system configurations.
- Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
- Provide training and awareness programs for employees on cybersecurity practices.
- Prepare and present reports on security incidents and mitigation efforts.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING
- 2+ years of IT security experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT or a related field.
- Proficient with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
- Detailed security knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory/Entra ID.
- Fully understand and can implement policies for Microsoft Entra ID: conditional access, identity protection, enterprise applications, sentinel, privileged identity management, plus any others required.
- Knowledge of Privileged Access Management solutions, Secret Server preferred.
- VPN security experience is required, FortiClient preferred.
- Accomplished in Duo and Microsoft MFA deployment and configurations.
- Skillful with A/V and network endpoint detection/prevention technologies, Windows Defender preferred.
- Advanced understanding of cloud security solutions including but not limited to SAML 2.0 and SSO.
- Experience with email security platforms and technologies; SPF/DKIM/DMARC, Mimecast and PhishER platforms preferred.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST and CMMC 2.0.
- Proficiency in task automation and programming, PowerShell preferred.
- Team player, great skills in communication and collaboration, and a proven problem-solver.
- Desire to help the IT Department be a respected business partner at MSA.
