About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Intern to join our team and contribute to the development of a system for the automated creation of Windows images used in a sandboxed environment. The goal of this project is to design a solution that can dynamically generate Windows images based on predefined configurations and scripts.

This system should allow for:

• Creating and configuring Windows user accounts

• Enabling/disabling system services

• Modifying system settings

• Installing additional software during image generation

The intern will gain hands-on experience in automation, scripting, system administration, and software deployment while working alongside experienced engineers.

Objectives:

• Develop a system for automated Windows image creation using scripts and configuration files

• Implement automation scripts to customize Windows images (PowerShell, Python, etc.)

• Integrate software installation, service modifications, and system settings into the image creation process

• Research and test different tools and technologies for Windows image deployment

• Document processes, configurations, and best practices

• Collaborate with the team to refine requirements and improve automation workflows

Competencies:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

• Familiarity with Windows OS internals and system administration

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Batch scripting)

• Knowledge of Windows automation tools (e.g., Sysprep, DISM, MDT, Packer, Autounattend.xml) is a plus

• Understanding of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox) is a bonus

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a real-world project
