The Role

Are you passionate about security architecture and driven to protect against the latest threats? We are seeking a Security Architect who will join our team and take the lead on developing, implementing, and maintaining our security strategy within our Service Provider organization. 

As our Security Architect, you will work closely with our leadership team to design and implement effective security solutions that not only protect our business objectives and regulatory requirements, but also provide innovative solutions to stay ahead of emerging threats.

You will conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify and prioritize risks to our business and IT assets, using your extensive experience in security architecture design and implementation within a Service Provider environment to create a cutting-edge security architecture framework. You will also work to maintain policies, standards, and guidelines related to information security within our organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security controls and technologies such as encryption, authentication, and authorization solutions.

Your role will also involve conducting security reviews of vendors and third-party partners to ensure they meet our rigorous security standards, as well as performing regular security and risk reviews of our Service Provider environment to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation activities.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10-18 years of relevant experience in Identity and Access Management, with a deep focus on Red Hat IDM and LDAP solutions
• Red Hat IDM Administration: Extensive experience in the installation, configuration, management, and maintenance of Red Hat Identity Management (IDM) systems, including server replicas and clients.
• LDAP Management: Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain LDAP directory services to support enterprise-level applications and services.
• Access Control & Security Management: Strong background in implementing best practices for secure access control, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and certificate management within IDM and LDAP environments.
• Authentication Protocols: In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with authentication protocols including Kerberos, SAML, and OAuth.
• Issue Diagnosis & Resolution: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving identity-related issues, including challenges related to authentication, replication, and configuration.
• Linux/Unix Administration: Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration, ensuring the smooth running of systems supporting IDM and LDAP services.
• Certificate Management & PKI: Experience with certificate management and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to ensure secure communications and identity verification.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Ability to work closely with security, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure that the identity and access management solutions align with organizational goals and compliance standards.
• Incident Management: Ability to act as a point of contact for escalated identity-related issues, handling complex incidents and requests efficiently.
• Change Management: Proven experience in handling change and problem management activities, particularly with Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes, including delivering and communicating changes as per scheduled timelines.
• KPI Compliance: Strong commitment to ensuring that all incidents and service calls meet Key Performance Indicator (KPI) standards, and strict adherence to notification and escalation processes.
• Agile Mindset: Ability to manage and execute activities in an Agile Scrum framework, maintaining a proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Shell Scripting: Knowledge of shell scripting for automation and management of identity and access management tasks.
• On-Call Support: Experience providing on-call support for troubleshooting and resolving incidents in live environments.
• Enterprise-Level Solutions: Experience in deploying and maintaining identity and access management solutions at an enterprise level.
