We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Intern to join our Cybersecurity team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to develop skills in risk management, security technologies, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic business environment.
Responsibilities
· Champion Cybersecurity Initiatives: Actively support the strategic programs and initiatives crafted by cybersecurity leadership, aligning with the security roadmap and core principles.
· Collaborate with Security Analysts: Work closely with Security Analysts to resolve trouble tickets and ensure smooth operations.
· Contribute to Comprehensive Security Efforts: Assist in risk assessments, vulnerability scans, security awareness programs, due diligence, vendor assessments, and audits.
· Monitor and Detect Security Events: Keep a vigilant eye on security events to spot anomalies and potential incidents within the network.
· Stay Ahead with Security Research: Investigate the latest security trends, compliance updates, and regulatory changes to support a robust security program.
· Support Diverse Security Domains: Directly contribute to various security disciplines, including security awareness, compliance, regulatory requirements, third-party security, risk management, and more.

Qualifications
· Pursuing a Relevant Degree: Enrolled in a degree program related to Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a similar field.
· Basic Cybersecurity Knowledge: Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts, principles, and best practices.
· Technical Proficiency: Strong technical proficiency with at least one IT domain, such as network security, infrastructure, or cybersecurity.
· Familiarity with Security Tools: Knowledge of security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, endpoint protection platforms, SIEM systems, and intrusion detection systems.
· Analytical and Critical Thinking Skills: Strong ability to analyze issues and develop effective solutions.
· Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to effectively collaborate with team members.
· Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail for identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities.
