The Software/Hardware Integrations Engineer will provide essential support to the Head of Enterprise Security by overseeing digital and physical security measures across Corporate and Segment locations. This role encompasses the management of access control systems, digital programs, surveillance, investigations, and the implementation of security policies. The SOC Programmer also supports contract security personnel, ensures technology systems are optimized, and drives improvements in logging and detection capabilities.
YOUR IMPACT
Operations Management
- Act as the primary contact for contract security leadership, managing day-to-day operational issues and inquiries.
- Oversee Security Professionals at the SOC and Front Desk Reception to uphold Oshkosh Corporation’s brand and values.
- Support Global Headquarters and other facilities by ensuring security practices align with corporate policies, developing mitigation plans for non-compliance.
Digital Key and Access Control Systems
- Lead and maintain digital key systems across corporate locations, ensuring proper logging and control through Genetec.
- Approve access control requests and coordinate with IT to maintain up-to-date SharePoint access control workflows.
- Build mapping overlays in Genetec to enhance system usability and continuous improvement.
Surveillance and Genetec Management
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Genetec surveillance and access control system, staying up to date with relevant certifications.
- Provide training to new Genetec users and manage access permissions as needed.
- Maintain Genetec health by troubleshooting, connecting with vendor support, and ensuring system integrity.
Auditing and Compliance
- Conduct daily and semi-annual audits of personnel and facility access to ensure accountability and compliance with security policies.
- Write and update security policies and procedures to maintain corporate compliance and align with best practices.
Training and Support
- Train security officers and personnel on key systems, emergency notifications, and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and US government regulations (NISPOM, Technology Control Plans).
- Assist in the implementation and operation of Emergency Alert Systems (e.g., Alert Media, Sam Desk), providing training for SOC personnel and end users.
Event and Trade Show Support
- Assist with onsite events, safety teams, and trade show security as directed by the Head of Enterprise Security, ensuring the protection of personnel and assets.
System Deployment and Optimization
- Remain informed about the latest technological developments in the security sector.
- Assess the optimal ways to harness technological advancements to enhance operational efficiencies and increase system utilization throughout the Oshkosh Enterprise.
- Ensure all Genetec and security system deployments align with Enterprise standards and goals.
- Facilitate coordination and collaboration with local teams to ensure that system deployments are in accordance with site-specific goals and objectives, thereby effectively reducing security risks and enhancing operational efficiencies.
- Ensure 3rd party contractors adhere to enterprise standards for system deployment.
- Ensure project deployments are defined and coordinated with site-specific contacts and 3rd party contractors, including expectations, timelines, deployment guidelines, and installation standards.
- Assist local site contacts and 3rd party contractors with implementation and system go-live, specifically new deployments and upgrades.
- Ensure Genetec deployments are programmed and aligned with Oshkosh Enterprise standards. • Support Genetec operators with incident response and investigations.
- Provide support in the planning, design, and execution phases of security projects, which encompass system upgrades, the implementation of access control measures, and the installation of surveillance systems.
- Ensure Genetec system deployments adhere to Oshkosh standards and Genetec recommended deployment guidelines.
- Align all locations with a standardized system deployment architecture and guidelines to guarantee the consistent use of hardware and technology throughout the Enterprise.
- Streamline system deployment guidelines to ensure proper system function which will ease system deployment and coordination efforts.
- Assist with developing access control groups that shall align with site-specific requirements.
- Manage and maintain oversight of system user rights and access.
- Plan and assist with Software/Genetec platform upgrades.
- Strive to employ Genetec to enhance operational efficiencies and focus on optimizing system utilization by utilizing technology and hardware that align with Enterprise standards.
- Determine the hardware and software enhancements that can enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Confirm that the architecture of the Genetec system adheres to the existing deployment standards and assess its capacity for future expansion to maintain system integrity and support future growth.
- Identify means to monitor system operational integrity, ensure optimal system performance, and identify ways to improve and mitigate system outages.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or five (5) or more years of relevant experience.
- Ability to travel up to 45%. • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Pay Range:
$91,800.00 - $153,200.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
