Organization & Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Software Security Architect to join our talented team. As a Software Security Architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our software systems and applications. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security architectures, conducting regular security assessments, and providing expert guidance on security risk mitigations and best practices.

 

Responsibilities

Security Architecture Design:

Design and implement secure software architectures for our products and systems. Collaborate with development teams to integrate security measures and practices into the software development lifecycle.

Threat Modeling:

Conduct thorough threat modeling exercises to identify potential security vulnerabilities and risks. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and address threats following the threat modeling process.

Security Assessments:

Perform regular security assessments on software applications, identifying and addressing vulnerabilities, including open-source and code implementation security risks. Stay informed about the latest security threats and industry best practices.

Security Standards Compliance:

Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory security standards. Develop and maintain security policies and procedures.

Incident Response:

Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and respond to security incidents. Develop and maintain incident response plans to minimize probability of future security incidents.

Basic Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

Proven experience as a Software Security Architect or a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of software security principles, techniques, and technologies.

Strong understanding of common security vulnerabilities and risk mitigation strategies.

Experience with threat modeling tools and methodologies.

Familiarity with industry security standards and regulations.

Proven experience in Software Development with C++ and .NET applications. System Engineering or Software Architect experience is a plus.

Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Proficiency in security assessment tools.

Ability to stay current with evolving security trends and technologies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

10+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years in software security
