We are looking for a skilled software engineer. You would be working with specifying, designing, implementing and testing software. You also support our program planning and agile activities in the team.
Position: Internship
Duration: 12 months
Start date (tentative): May, 2025
Location: Hybrid in Amadora or Aveiro, Portugal
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school
- Ensure that Design for Security & Privacy methodology is being followed
- Ensure that Security Vulnerability Monitoring process (SVM) is being used
- Increase security awareness in the respective product
- Work very close with Program, Product Security Manager and Privacy Manager
- Embrace best engineering practices, focusing on Continuous Delivery
- Propose and implement innovations and improvement actions
- Knowledge of current communications industry, cyber security, IP (Internet protocol) networks, system engineering, quality/security standards and frameworks
- Contact with security testing methods (SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP)
- Experienced in cloud native microservice architectures and RESTful API design
- Ability to analyze product or solution security status from testing results, reports, architecture and audit results
- Knowledge in server less technologies, Docker/K8s, DevOps or any CaaS
It would be nice if you also had:
- Linux, Bash, Scripting
- Work in Scrum/Kanban
- OpenSource contribution
