NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 2 days a week onsite in our Walnut Creek office.

Job Summary

The Technology Delivery Director will be responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of all Technology functions for a specific AAA MWG division. The Technology Delivery Director will be the key strategist and decision maker for the focal point of architecture, design, and delivery. Additionally, they support a business unit and the Club’s digital transformation.

This role will be specifically tasked with leading and partnering with executive and business subject matter experts toward integrating and optimizing business operations with modern technologies. This position resides in the AAA Technology division (IT) and will play a strategic role in shaping and enabling business strategies through technology solutions.

The role will lead a team of entry level to advanced level IT professionals and act as a peer leader to other leaders in the Technology division. This role will also support/maintain existing applications and lead migration to new technology solutions.

Essential Duties
• Works with Senior Leaders inside the Technology division to support the definition/delivery product strategy and a product roadmap for systems/applications by analyzing the market competitive position and customer research.
• Leverage defined Technology strategies to support business units objectives with technology solutions
• Design, operate and optimize a complex network of processing across Internet of Things (IoT), devices, gateways, web service, telephony networks, alarm/signal receiving and data analytics.
• Support of scalable, high performing application services for operations monitoring, digital marketing, sales, call center, field technician and financial operations.
• Work as a key business partner to the executive staff, subject matter experts, vendors and IT leaders/partners to lead and influence the design, integration and optimization of enterprise solutions
• Responsible for the development, management and support of a highly effective team of IT professionals ranging from entry level to advanced professional. Hires, motivates, mentors, and addresses administrative issues and duties including performance management
• Act as a peer leader and peer mentor for other leaders in the Technology division
• Manage other product managers’ work on systems or applications projects and track key requirements to ensure that the final product meets objectives.

Education and Certification Requirements
• Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university Master’s Degree (desirable)
• PMP, Agile Certification (preferred)
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP (desirable)

Knowledge and Skills
• 12+ years or related experience or equivalent in the Technology and applications field.
• Project management, including time, budget and schedule (8 years or equivalent)
• Customer service or consultant experience in developing recommendations, conducting analyses and developing presentations (8 years or equivalent experience)
• Experience leveraging Agile problem solving methodologies (8 years or equivalent)
• Experience in leading and architecting business and customer facing solutions in internet services, B2C mobile and smart home services, IoT network services, and/or e-commerce service industries (8 years or equivalent experience)
• Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Effective time management skills
• Ability to make quick, well-thought decisions in a myriad of diverse/ambiguous situations
• Experience presenting to business stakeholders (8 years or equivalent experience)
• 5-8 or more years managing and supervising technical teams
• 5-8 years experience managing operational budget and expenses.
• Experience with cloud technologies and implementations.
• Experience developing and executing innovative strategic plans.
• Experience managing operational budget and expenses.
• Multi-disciplinary leadership and technical expertise across IT/OT infrastructure, enterprise applications, business integration/process optimization, cloud migration (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) and analytics/Big Data a plus.
• Experience giving executive presentation
• Experience with IT Service Delivery (ITIL) including Incident, Problem and Change Management

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $149,109.00 - Mid: $166,315.00- Max: $183,518.00
