We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Cyber Integration and Automation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of advanced cyber integration and automation strategies to enhance our organization's cybersecurity posture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of cybersecurity measures into our existing systems and processes.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

Lead the development and execution of cyber integration and automation strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into existing systems and processes.

Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards for cyber integration and automation.

Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented cybersecurity measures and make necessary adjustments.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity and automation technologies.

Provide leadership and guidance to a team of cybersecurity professionals.

Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.

Lead and mentor a team of security analysts and specialists.

Partner with IT, engineering, and other departments to ensure effective security controls and processes.

Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Creates an environment in which their team pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment and using a coaching mindset and communicating vison/values/business strategy; and managing succession and development planning for the team
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

10+ years in Management, with focus on Information Security.

Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.

Experience with advanced cybersecurity technologies and solutions.

Experience with cloud security.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Experience in the financial services industry
