Sr System Cyber Analyst - Information Security

Pay your bill, manage your account, report an outage, and learn how to save energy.- Prepare standards based documents for the installation of computing or communications components to support Con Edison's information and communications network infrastructure.
- Prepare standards based, detailed bid specifications for the installation of computing and communications related network equipment to support Con Edison's information network infrastructure.
- Lead technical evaluations of contractor proposals, software or hardware.
- Lead project to deploy various cyber security tools. Once deployed, become the technical lead in supporting the tools.
- Provide guidance and consulting on cyber security technology cyber security solutions.
- Support as a member, the cyber action team through forensics analysis of systems, malware, or network
- Serve as project manager for small-scale vendor installation of computing and communication networks.
- Monitor cyber security threats and vulnerabilities and provide support as necessary to incident cyber security team.
- Must be available 24/7, on call, and/or participate in off-hour emergency response activities as required.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
- Associate's Degree and with a minimum of five (5) years of IT experience preferably in cyber security or
- Bachelor's Degree and with three (3) years of IT experience preferably in cyber security or
- Master's Degree and with two (2) years of IT experience preferably in cyber security Technical certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CIPP, etc.) are preferred but not mandatory.
- Master's Degree and with two (2) years of IT experience preferably in cyber security with technical certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CIPP, etc.) preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT (preferably in Cyber security) is required.
- Previous Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT)/Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC), and incident management experience is required.
- Solid understanding of industry standard policy, processes and procedures covering incident, problem and change management.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and network architecture is preferred.
- Scripting experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of security tools is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to present at different levels of management.
- Driver's License Required
- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
- Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
- Must be available 24/7, on call, and/or participate in off-hour emergency response activities as required.
