Northern Trust is seeking a Lead – Cyber Security Threat Management. This key team member will have responsibility for assessing cyber security risks in the areas of Vulnerability Management, Security Configuration, Mobile Security and Application Security.
This key partner will report directly to the Sr. Director of Attack Surface Management.
Major Duties:
- Performs manual assessment of zero day vulnerabilities to determine relative priority within Northern Trust’s vulnerability management process.
- Assesses secure configuration criteria across multiple technology platforms to support NT’s security configuration process. Evaluates secure configuration exceptions for soundness and acceptable mitigating controls.
- Responsible for maintaining the NT Mobile RASP product include security policy decisions and overall product ownership.
- Maintains a strong understanding of Northern Trust’s security architecture
- Responsible for periodically Penetration Testing applications or systems on an ad-hoc basis.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 8 + years of experience in relevant cyber security disciplines
- One or more relevant cyber security certification
- Ability to work in a global team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Analytical and problem solving skills for troubleshooting are required
- Familiarity with key security technologies (e.g. Qualys, WIZ, Zimperium, Defender, etc…)
- Familiarity with issue/ticket tracking systems (e.g. ADO, ServiceNow)
Salary Range:
$99,600 - 169,200 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
