Role
This program focuses on the development of a core internal product baseline for Clarity’s task management system that provides a common interface for operators to task tools and capabilities. This role will focus on internal improvements to the technology including advancements in writing APIs and developing various SDKs for software integrators in various programming languages as required. This role will interface regularly with a Product Architect (PA) to execute and deliver features as a part of the product baseline.
Responsibilities
- Participate in architectural discussions and with the PA and execute on priority features
- Develop robust and high-quality software, putting the user’s requirements first and always driving towards a working product on time
- Build and integrate automated testing into the product’s codebase
- Consistently groom feature backlog and execute tasks in a sprint-driven cadence
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS security clearance (note, only US Citizens are eligible for security clearances)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. (Degree requirement can be met with four years of hands-on experience in a Software Engineering or similar full-time position.) - Ability to collaborate as a team but execute independently
- Thrives in a high-trust, adaptable team environment
- Proficient in developing with Golang and Python
- Experience integrating GraphQL
- Experience in API/SDK development
- Experience writing Automated Tests (e.g., unit tests, acceptance tests, system/integration tests)
- Experience working with software integrators to debug and solve integration challenges, improving the product along the way
- Experience contributing to or leading the design of new capabilities
- Experience with a version control code repository, such as GitLab
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Containerization (Docker or Podman)
- Experience implementing and using Gitlab CI pipelines
- Experience with gRPC / Protobuf
- Experience in database development (SQLite / PostgreSQL)
- Experience deploying software using Kubernetes
- Familiarity with the Cyber Operations Domain
- Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework
