• Perform the role as IT consultant, consulting to the local business unit, and giving expertise advice on how to further improve processes, procedures and/or possibilities with IT
• Enhance business agility via adopting application portfolio and IT processes to allow quick response to changes in business processes
• Have enough understanding of all systems supporting the relevant business area, to be able to manage, challenge and develop processes related to the specific area
• Actively assess the impact of planned IT changes on critical business processes and minimize risks for disruptions
• Coordinate with own Team Manager and local business owners to get input for planning and to present plans and ideas to have them approved
IT Project Management
• Perform the role as the local IT Project Manager responsible for demand, coordination of projects and resources to implement and/or develop new systems and enhancements
• Participate in global/regional IT solution deployment to support DTK’s short-term and long-term business objectives; assist in analyzing proper business needs and support users in defining requirements to satisfy business objectives through interviews, workshops and process reviews
• Analyze user requirements for enhancements on existing services, identify possible solutions, estimates and plan the implementation together with relevant groups
• Ensure that project documentation in the relevant repositories is kept up-to-date
• Ensure the project can be done in time, quality and budget
IT Service Operation
• Constant improvement, streamlining and optimization of all functions with appropriate change management of processes
• Responsible for IT infrastructure operation such as Datacenter, Network including LAN, MAN, WAN and dealer network, and workplace
Leading IT Security Communication
• Regular communication within and support for the IT team to ensure IT security guidelines are aligned and executed in the team
• Align with HQ information security team on Daimler security goal for the local
• Train new employees about IT security procedures in the company
• Setup regular communication in the company to keep employees updated and trained about information security topics
• Inform the management by preparing performance reports, security status and changed regulations
• Define and execute process for implementing and maintaining security controls
• Consult the business and IT in regard to security policies and procedures when implementing new demands or application enhancements
• Identify and track vulnerabilities, security findings and risks on the application landscape
Others
• Ensure a professional relationship with major IT suppliers within the specific area, to be able to manage chosen suppliers to deliver support and project delivery, according to requested quality
• Management of suppliers relationships including safeguarding contractual IT supplier relationships are in place and incorporate Daimler standard clauses to ensure data protection and data security
• Adhere to all relevant Daimler policies, procedures and standards in order to achieve quality and compliance of solution and services
• Manage the IT infrastructure, workplace and security budget and the cost
Education: University degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or Engineering with additional certificates, degrees or experience in Information Services
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of job experience from working with IT Service Operations or IT Security (ideally with a international company)
Specific knowledge: Fluent in English (Both written & speaking), Houston methodolgy and toolset, Process/Change Management, IT Performance Assessment (Models and Methods), IT Security
Rich experience in IT Security assessment
Rich experience in IT infrastructure and application architecture
Know how about Digital Workplace management (Windows, Outlook, Mobile services)
Good understanding of ITIL methodology
Certifications (Good to have, not mandatory): PMP, ITIL, CISSP, CISA, Security+
Education: University degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems, or Engineering with additional certificates, degrees or experience in Information Services
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of job experience from working with IT Service Operations or IT Security (ideally with a international company)
