About the role
We are looking for 2 Senior Account Directors to join our successful Sales team in our Cloud, Cyber and IT Business Unit at ARO.
You will be an experienced senior representative with solid experience of nurturing and managing significant brand names and an in depth knowledge of multiple lines of technical solutions.
This position is crucial for ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT solutions, including cloud services, cyber security, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and next-gen networking. The Senior Account Director will be responsible for understanding client needs, developing strategic plans, and ensuring that all solutions are aligned with client requirements and business objectives.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with key clients, drive business growth, and contribute to ARO’s success by delivering innovative IT solutions.
Please note that home based role with weekly national travel to customer meetings. You will also be required to collaborate with teams in other ARO offices. A full UK driving license is essential.
What you’ll do
- Develop and implement strategic account plans that align with client objectives and ARO's business goals.
- Regularly review and adjust these plans to reflect changing client needs and market conditions, ensuring the continued alignment with client and business goals.
- Build and maintain long-lasting relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for their interests.
- Regularly engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and proactively address concerns or issues.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and maintain high client satisfaction levels across all levels of service architecture
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling ARO’s services, including cloud solutions, cybersecurity, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and next-gen networking.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth within existing client accounts.
- Apply knowledge of cutting-edge technologies to enhance client operations and deliver advanced, future-proof solutions.
- Identify opportunities to introduce new technologies and solutions that can add value to client operations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, account plans, and project progress.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior management and clients, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
Requirements
What we are looking for?
Essential
- Proven experience in an account director or a similar role, with knowledge of IT solutions and technology trends
- Experience of working with high profile, Enterprise level customers
- Clearly defined success at C-suite level
- Strong Vendor Partnership experience, eg Microsoft, HP etc
- Excellent emotional awareness and relationship building skills
- Knowledge and experience across a range of verticals
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Full UK Driving license
Desirable
- Relevant industry certifications or qualifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
