What We'll Bring:

This role is responsible for implementing the global Data Privacy Framework within TransUnion’s India businesses. The role involves: managing data protection compliance; ensuring data processing adheres to relevant policies, standards and controls; and, serving as a point of escalation for data protection queries.

What You'll Bring:

How You’ll Contribute:

• Assisting the Head of Global Privacy Operations with the implementation of the Data Privacy Framework
• Ensure the Data Privacy Framework, policies, standards and processes are implemented and adhered to
• Develop and maintain data protection training
• Prioritise and coordinate data protection tasks
• Assessing the regional data protection impact of new initiatives
• Reviewing risk assessments, ensuring relevant risks are escalated to stakeholders and committees
• Providing advice on complex and escalated data protection queries
• Engaging with Privacy Stewards, ensuring they are adequately trained and supported
• Measuring and monitoring indicators of data protection compliance
• Create and maintain an accurate regional register of data assets and data processing activities
• Implement changes necessary to comply with new regulations and to respond to regulatory investigations
• Support with escalated individual rights requests and customer queries

Support data incident response as required

Impact You'll Make:

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years’ experience complying with comprehensive privacy regulations
• Experience in privacy management or a related function such as data governance or regulatory compliance
• Knowledge of product development and management lifecycles
• Experience working in a matrixed organisation
• Educated to degree level or otherwise suitable experience

We’d Love to See:

• Experience in the financial services or technology industries
• Experience of a global technology organisation
• Privacy credentials (e.g. CIPP)
