Information Security Manager

Description

Part of the Information & CyberSecurity team working with the CISO to drive and manage security initiatives, covering all areas and domains in the Governance, Risk, Compliance and data Privacy aspects; aligning to organizational and business objectives; including regulatory and legal requirements.

• Play a vital role in enhancing and ensuring that the security posture of the organization is robust and effectively managed. Domain expertise in Information & Cybersecurity areas with sound knowledge and practical hands-on experience.
• Good understanding and knowledge of evolving IT technologies, frameworks and solutions
• Understanding Business and IT landscape and applying security mindset to address issues and requirements
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a security mindset to identify and fix security risks and issues.
• Possess Techno managerial skills
  • Worked in CISO team and managed project deliverables, operations and related activities.
  • Worked with business and IT stakeholders to meet security requirements
• Experience working in Insurance industry preferable.
• Good Oral and written communication skills
• Security Certifications would be added advantage.
• Take up responsibilities and challenges; is a go-getter and result-oriented.
• Work with and assist CISO in various security strategies and initiatives planned
• Manage Vulnerability Management program
• Manage compliance & regulatory requirements
• Oversee audit activities and ensure closure of reported observations within defined TAT.
• Implement and manage security projects
• Implement security industry standards and best practices
• Manage security KPIs and metrics for security effectiveness
• Manage BAU / SecOps
• Conduct regular security assessments and measure effectiveness of controls
• Review IT architecture and provide adequate security controls to mitigate risks.
• Consult, advice, coordinate and support Business, IT teams and other internal and external stakeholders to meet security requirements.
• Spread security awareness and educate users

Qualifications

BE , BSc ( IT ) , Any graduate with good coding abilities.
