Our Team provides managed services and proactive and reactive support to our global customers. We utilize tools to integrate and maintain Akamai security, media, and performance solutions for our clients. We collaborate to solve problems, innovate and provide creative solutions that continuously improve our service to customers.
Partner with the best
As Security Architect II, you will design, plan and deliver security solutions for our large enterprise customers. You will partner with our customers to provide a range of professional services including training and optimizations. You will work closely with customers to provide creative solutions, and develop successful implementations.
As a Security Architect II, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the planning, installation and integration of our products in diverse environments using automation and configuration tools
- Working with customers throughout project life-cycle, deploying and configuring state of the art Micro-Segmentation and Security platforms
- Delivering advanced professional services such as training, expansions, configurations and optimizations according to State of Work
- Training our customers and stakeholders on our products to ensure they gain maximum value from our solutions
- Liaising with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues in a timely manner and drive customer post-sales satisfaction
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have good experience in a customer-facing role, supporting enterprise software or in a Professional Services role
- Have in-depth knowledge in technologies such as, Operating Systems, Networking or Virtualization
- Have hands-on experience in deploying, configuring and troubleshooting software or networking equipment
- Be familiar with Scripting, Cloud Services Admin or Configuration management
- Be a self-starter who can manage multiple projects with differing priorities
- Have great communication skills and be able to build successful relationships with with remote and global teams

Compensation
Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from CRC19,211,000 - CRC39,902,000/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
