The Information Technology team is looking for a Project Manager Cybersecurity to support the organization's security strategy, working closely with the Head of Cybersecurity. This role will play a key part in ensuring the security and integrity of IT systems, implementing best practices and  leading security initiatives.

We are looking for a person to join a full-time position in Madrid.

Responsibilities

Your role as Cybersecurity Project Manager will involve:

 

  • Act as the right-hand person to the Head of Cybersecurity, contributing to the development and execution of the company's security strategy.
  • Lead the identification, assessment, and mitigation of cybersecurity risks.
  • Design, implement, and manage security policies, standards, and best practices across the organization.
  • Provide advanced technical support for incident detection, response, and recovery.
  • Conduct security audits, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee and improve firewall, NAC, SIEM, EDR/XDR/NDR, CASB, and ZTNA solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze security events, logs, and network traffic for potential threats.
  • Develop and execute incident response plans and cybersecurity training programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
  • Manage and enhance security in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in security operations, risk management, or security architecture.
  • High level of written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Experience with SIEM, EDR, NDR, and XDR technologies for advanced threat detection and response.
  • Expertise in identity and access management (IAM), Zero Trust security models, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience working with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and virtualization environments.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Ansible).
  • Experience leading cybersecurity projects and incident response teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during security incidents.

Nice to Have:

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
