Our continued growth requires the addition of a talented and highly motivated Information Technology Security Administrator to join the Information Technology team as we provide infrastructure services to meet business requirements.

 

This position reports to the Director, IT Infrastructure and Security and will be focused on security-related operations for the organization. The individual in this role will work with various teams in IT, as well as other departments. They must have a strong background in current IT security operations, possess ability to adapt emerging threat vectors and technologies, and have experience working in a team environment. Extensive experience in security operations in an on-premises and cloud hybrid infrastructure is a must. Ability to lead and mentor is required. The candidate should be a self-starter, detail-oriented, possess the ability to design, plan, implement, and document solutions adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Essential Duties

  • Maintain security infrastructure and assist with design and implementation of security controls
  • Daily signal monitoring of implemented security platforms
  • Maintain incident response playbooks
  • Assist with remediation of discovered vulnerabilities
  • Monitor and remediate patching issues in accordance with company policies
  • Manage and maintain endpoint protection operations and policy implementations across all company assets including servers, workstations, mobile devices, and hosted services (EDR)
  • Forensic analysis and briefing to executive leadership on all cybersecurity-related events
  • Assist Legal and Human Resources departments with sensitive information discovery as needed
  • Provide full risk analysis, current security posture, and future guidance to board of directors, quarterly
  • Collaborate with vendors and community to stay current on emerging cybersecurity trends and provide a quarterly briefing with mitigation strategy
  • Work directly with multiple teams to deploy and upgrade endpoint security solutions while ensuring no impact to productivity
  • Lead an annual discovery of current and replacement solutions for security-related platforms
  • Engage with other IT teams around securing new and existing changes such as infrastructure changes, LOB applications, and cloud migrations
  • Manage change management communications and strategies for new deployments and configuration changes to existing solutions

Minimum Requirements

  • 4+ years in an IT Security Administrator role required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • A minimum of 3 years of administrative experience with the following required:
    • NGFW Firewalls
    • IPS/IDS
    • EDR and Next-Gen Endpoint Security
    • SIEM/Log Analytics
    • Email Security Platforms and Exchange Connectivity Security
    • MFA Administration and Compliance
    • Windows Server 2016-20XX
    • Directory Services including AD, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy
  • Administrative Office 365 experience across enterprise services required
  • Administrative experience with Microsoft Azure including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and cross-service integrations required
  • Experience with Cisco security appliances required
  • Information technology-related degree preferred
  • Security-related certification (either currently holding or in process with <1 year remaining) preferred
  • Experience in configuring/maintaining routers, firewalls, switches, and Next-Gen Appliances preferred
  • Proficiency with Powershell is a plus
  • Experience working in Linux environments is a plus
  • Experience working with containers is a plus
