About your future role

We are seeking for a strong motivated Cloud & Infrastructure Security Specialist for the Nexi Group's international Cloud, Infrastructure & Data Security team, responsible for management of security technologies and architectures, with the mission to ensure compliance with security standards and to support security projects design and delivery. The person will operate in an international environment, collaborating with several consultants, vendors, and system integrators to support security initiatives.
 

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Participate in security projects, actively driving progress and coordinating with project teams and stakeholders
• Hands-on operation of security systems and tools, focusing on network security, cloud security, email security, web application firewalls (WAF), AV/EDR solutions and SIEM platforms
• Ensure compliance to security standards and guidelines for both cloud and on-premises infrastructures across multiple countries
• Collaborate directly with system integrators and vendors to align security strategies
• Design and enforce security policies and standards
• Participate in incident response process and troubleshooting sessions
• Support continuous monitoring and security improvements in line with organizational goals

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in Information Security, ideally within an international or large-scale enterprise environment
• Cloud security: knowledge of various cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (public, private, hybrid) with exposure to best practices in securing infrastructures. Knowledde of CSPM platforms
• Network Security: Knowledge of network security principles, including firewall configuration and architectures, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), virtual private networks (VPNs), Proxy & URL Filtering systems
• Knowledge of WAF (Web Application Firewall) system configurations and architectures
• Knowledge of AV (Antivirus), EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response) and Antimalware system configurations and architectures
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical teams and senior stakeholders
• Hands-on experience in managing operation of infrastructure security systems
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:

• Certifications and qualifications related to the cybersecurity field are considered as a plus (eg: AZ-500 Microsoft Azure Security, AWS Certified Security, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNP Security, CISSP, ISO27K-LA, CEH, CCSK)
• Knowledge of industry security standards and guidelines (e.g., PCI DSS) is a plus
• Knowledge of SIEM platforms and security log ingestion best practices and architectures
