The Role
As a Corporate Security Investigator, you will be responsible for supporting components of the organization's Corporate Security program including physical security, emergency planning, data privacy, information protection, and incident management. You will aid management in protecting people, property, and information. The physical security element ensures a safe and secure environment for people and property through a number of measures. The Data Privacy and information protection element ensures a safe and secure system environment for client information as well as the organization's information.
Essential Skills, Duties & Responsibilities:
Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents involving fraud, data breaches, intellectual property theft, workplace violence, and other security threats. The investigator would also gather and analyze evidence, including digital forensics, interviews, and surveillance materials.
Threat Assessment & Mitigation: Identify potential security threats to the CEO and his directs reports, corporate operations, employees, and assets. This role would also involve collaboration with cybersecurity teams to investigate cyber incidents, such as phishing attacks or unauthorized access.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR, legal, IT, and compliance teams during investigations. This is especially important as it appears there will be significant growth in our relationship with HR moving forward.
Reporting & Documentation: Create detailed investigative reports, outlining findings, evidence, and recommended actions.
Training & Awareness: Provide training to employees on investigations, security protocols, fraud prevention, and how to report suspicious activity.

Required Skills, Experience and Circumstances:
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Security Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in investigations, government related investigations, corporate security, intelligence gathering, law enforcement, or cybersecurity.
Ability to work onsite as needed in either the New York city or Rye Brook offices.
Experience conducting face to face and remote interviews, threat assessments, fraud investigations, brand protection, or social media monitoring.
General Investigative & Security Skills
Experience with threat intelligence, risk assessment, and corporate security policies.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to verify and assess intelligence sources.
Knowledge of legal and ethical considerations in interviews and investigations (e.g., GDPR, data privacy laws).
Ability to compile and present intelligence findings in clear, concise reports for stakeholders.
Ability to work with cybersecurity teams, law enforcement, and legal departments when required.
Experience with high level briefings.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Capable of operating effectively across a global organization and interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to proactively solve problems, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Outstanding communications & self-driven initiative skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Previous work with law enforcement, government agencies, or corporate security teams is a plus.
Compensation
The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is $116,760 to $221,880 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California: $128,400 to $266,040
Colorado: $116,760 to $221,880
New York City: $140,04 0 to $266,040
Washington: $128,400 to $243,960
Washington DC:$128,400 to $243,960
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
