We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Endpoint Security Support Engineer to join our SecOPS team . The ideal candidate will focus on securing endpoint devices and applications through effective patching, vulnerability management, Backups/Restores (Ransom Protection)and monitoring insider threats. This role involves conducting endpoint forensic analyses and collaborating on security projects to ensure the protection of our Grail’s Endpoint digital assets.
This is a hybrid role in Menlo Park, CA

Responsibilities

• Endpoint Device and Application Patching:Manage and implement patching strategies for endpoint devices and applications. Ensure timely updates and patches are applied to mitigate vulnerabilities.


• Vulnerability Management:Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and risk analyses on endpoint devices. Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement remediation strategies.


• Security Tools and Technologies:Utilize Okta, SentinelOne, and Crowdstrike for endpoint security management and threat detection. Administer and configure Active Directory for security and access management. Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions to secure mobile devices.


• Insider Threat Monitoring:Monitor and assess insider threats using advanced analytics and security tools. Implement strategies to detect and mitigate potential insider security risks.


• Endpoint Forensic Analysis:Perform forensic investigations on endpoint devices to identify security breaches and gather evidence. Work closely with the incident response team to resolve security incidents.


• Project Management:Lead and drive security projects to successful completion, ensuring timeframes and outcomes are met. Collaborate cross-functionally to implement security initiatives and process improvements.


• Service Management:Utilize ITIL standards to manage and improve the service desk operations. Provide exceptional support and guidance to end-users on endpoint security matters.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience in endpoint security support and management.


• Proficiency with Jira for project tracking and management.


• Hands-on experience with ITIL service desk operations and Active Directory.


• Expertise in using Okta, SentinelOne, and Crowdstrike for security management.


• Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.


• Strong understanding of endpoint forensic tools and practices.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The expected full time annual base pay for this position is $131k-174k. Actual base pay will consider skills, experience and location.
Based on the role, colleagues may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan tied to company and individual performance, or an incentive plan. We also offer a long-term incentive plan to align company and colleague success over time.
