Peraton is actively seeking a Journeyman Compliance Operations Support Specialist to join our dynamic team supporting the government customer’s Office of Compliance for Cyber and Operations. The Office of Compliance plays an essential role in safeguarding the operational mission by ensuring compliance with laws, policies, and regulatory frameworks. This includes enabling mission authorities while ensuring that every operation is conducted in full adherence to compliance standards.
As a Journeyman Compliance Operations Support Specialist, you will be a key player in managing compliance-related processes and activities for a high-stakes National Security program. In this role, you will work collaboratively with a team of professionals to monitor, triage, and resolve incoming work items, analyze and summarize critical information, and ensure the seamless flow of actions. You will also coordinate with various stakeholders, manage documentation, and generate reports to support decision-making processes.
Your ability to balance attention to detail with organizational efficiency will be crucial as you leverage tools like Track-It, JIRA, Confluence, Siteworks, and corporate data repositories to maintain comprehensive documentation, including SOPs, action tracking, and decision memos.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Monitoring & Management: Perform quality control on incoming requests and work items, ensuring compliance requirements are met at all stages, from initiation to closure.
Action Generation & Coordination: Identify and generate new actions based on incoming requests. Collaborate with stakeholders to coordinate and ensure the effective execution of compliance-related tasks.
Documentation Maintenance: Draft, format, and coordinate Standard Process Forms (SPFs) and official responses. Maintain and organize documentation, including tracking spreadsheets, decision memos, and other critical files.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Analyze and summarize key compliance points, preparing reports and recommendations for government decision-makers. Relay government responses effectively to stakeholders.
Meeting & Agenda Management: Prepare meeting agendas, facilitate meetings, and track action items to ensure timely completion and compliance with set objectives.
Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to new team members, helping to foster an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on national security efforts. As a Journeyman Compliance Operations Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance across key operations that drive the mission forward. Your work will ensure the government customer operates within the boundaries of policies, legal frameworks, and strategic objectives—ultimately contributing to the success of national security missions.
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Qualifications
Experience must include performing compliance, legal, auditing, or related work, and can also include working in an area directly related to the collection, intelligence and cybersecurity industry.
The amount of experience required is based on the candidate’s qualifying degree in Degree in Law, Business, Accounting, or a related field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Management and Information Technology):

- Four (4) years of relevant experience and an Associate’s degree OE
- Three (3) year of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR
- One (1) year of relevant experience and a Master’s Degree OR
- Six (6) years of relevant experience without a qualifying degree.

Target Salary Range
$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.EEO
