The Role
We are undergoing a strategic transformation to fully embrace the cloud, leveraging its potential to drive innovation and scalability. As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in protecting our cloud environments across Azure, GCP, and AWS. This includes leveraging native cloud security tools and third-party applications, such as CrowdStrike, alongside deploying and managing robust Web Application Firewall (WAF) capabilities. Your expertise will ensure our web applications and cloud infrastructure are secure against evolving threats and vulnerabilities, enabling a resilient and secure transformation.

The engineer is a de-facto leader in the organization and is committed to directly mentoring junior engineers and technicians, while consistently demonstrating behaviors aligned with our core values.
The Main Responsibilities
- Perform engineering support for both on prem and cloud environments
- Assess operational business processes to ensure security is appropriately integrated and make Engineering improvements based on those.
- Assess potential risks with new applications and products and provide security requirements and recommendations for risk mitigation to help the business succeed with their projects.

Directly engages in advanced troubleshooting and delivery with stakeholders, including end customers.
- Consult as security subject matter expert with network architects, engineers, and others on solutions to security problems.
- Recommend new information security systems and controls to mitigate emerging threats and risks across the company.
- Ensure reports and findings are delivered in a timely and appropriate manner to management, operations and executive leadership.
- Recommend new security policy, standards, best practices, and system configuration standards. Consult with internal clients on security topics and policy interpretation.
- Identify higher risk areas of the corporate and carrier infrastructure for assessment.
- Coordinate activities across multiple departments and business units.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We Look For in a Candidate
Required:
- Bachelors Degree
- 6 years of experience, or 4 with Masters degree
Preferred:
- Masters Degree

Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
