Job Description

NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire a Systems Administrator to support a Federal Agency.

This role is located 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TXCandidates must be eligible for Secret Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform server administration duties for government-owned nurse call, middleware, wireless messaging servers, and associated appliances and Ensure system integrity through regular patching and hardening in compliance with DoD and local IAM policies.
  • Write and maintain required documentation including system scans, SOPs, backup and recovery plans, and disaster recovery plans to support security posture and risk management framework.
  • Coordinate with vendors to stay updated on new technologies and initiatives related to nurse call and associated systems.
  • Identify and implement solutions to enhance critical nurse call alerts and call flow processes for staff endpoints.
  • Troubleshoot and repair infrastructure related to wireless devices, middleware, paging, and wireless messaging systems and Respond to and resolve Nurse Call system issues promptly to ensure continuous system uptime.
  • Deploy, sustain, and troubleshoot new or existing server operating systems and related infrastructure software and hardware.
  • Administer day-to-day sustainment, integrity, security, and availability of infrastructure platforms.
  • Perform daily system backups, monitor performance, and conduct capacity analysis to ensure the stability and reliability of infrastructure systems.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures, maintenance guides, and knowledge base articles to ensure proper documentation is established for operational upkeep.
  • Perform platform maintenance upgrades to ensure both security and operational posture are properly maintained.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Certifications

  • Eight (8) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
  • Master’s degree and/or equivalency
  • Candidates must be eligible for a Secret Clearance.
  • IAT III certification (CASP CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, CCNP Security, GCIH) as per DoD 8570.01-M standards.
  • CE: Professional (expert preferred) level certificate for supported technology
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications

  • Previous Federal Consulting Experience.
  • Expert-level certifications in relevant technologies.
  • Experience with advanced monitoring tools and performance analysis.
  • Additional certifications in IT security or systems management are a plus.
