The Industry and Security Analysis Group (ISAG) provides analytical, technical, and program support to promote, grow, and protect the U.S. industrial base. ISAG’s support spans the Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Commerce, and other agencies to deliver critical decision support to national security leaders. Our team informs policy decisions, enables execution of comprehensive strategies and monitors and reports on the effectiveness of implementation. This enables senior leaders to execute strategies for developing and sustaining a robust industrial base that meets our nation’s strategic resource objectives. From policy to practice, we are a team of economic and national security professionals providing innovative solutions for our Nation’s most pressing security challenges.
We have an immediate need for a Compliance Monitor/Analyst to support the Global Investment and Economic Security Office out of the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities
The candidate will work with a team of legal experts, business operations experts, and compliance auditors to support the monitoring and compliance of Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) mitigation agreements. Support development of compliance audit procedures to include: documentation, audit checklists, and execution planning. Document audit tests and findings, and develop recommendations for follow-on actions. Conduct annual or bi-annual mitigation compliance audits of companies within the Defense Industrial Base.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related area
- 5+ years of experience conducting audits involving regulatory compliance and monitoring in areas such as corporate board requirements and internal controls and firewalls, HR and IT controls to safeguard sensitive IP, physical security, IT security, cyber security, insider threat security, supply assurance requirements, and performance monitoring assessments
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain compliance documentation, audit logs, or similar records
- Able to work fully onsite based on client needs
Desired:
- Master’s degree
- Experience in the areas of technology transfer, product integrity, or supply assurance
- Experience with DoD structure and processes; experience with USG interagency coordination
- Background or education in foreign investment, corporate board structure, or mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
