Senior Container Security Analyst

Part of a team that establishes, supports and continuously improves the enterprise information security policies, practices and standards. Participate in on-going operational activities that serve to establish appropriate access to and provide the appropriate protection, confidentiality, integrity and availability of enterprise systems and data through effective security controls. Validate compliance with policies and standards that keep Ameriprise applications and infrastructure safe and secure from vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide timely and effective operational support for the firm's information security tools, processes and practices.  Partner with other support teams and vendors to resolve problems or implement new products or services.  Use standard technology monitoring tools to monitor assigned environments and/or technical assets and identify/detect behavior outside of established standards.  Escalate key security issues to the appropriate team to be addressed.  Assist with security assurance testing activities.

• Analyze, enhance, and support Container Security tools and platforms that provide capabilities for security.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and partners across Engineering and Operations teams and partner with teams in the wider organization across different time zones.
• Furthermore, you design security concepts for the platform and support in automation and provisioning of secure container solutions.
• Collaborate/Develop IR process for Container workload.
• Respond to security alerts generated by containers security platform.
• Create documentation/SOP/Run Books for responding to security alerts. 
• Train and educate the team members on container security. 

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related technical field; or equivalent work experience. 
• 5+ years' experience in Container Security working with technologies like k8s/k3s and container technologies such as Docker, Podman and Openshift
• Working knowledge of Information Security and computer network/system access technologies.
• Experience working in the financial services industry or other highly regulated/compliance-oriented environments. 
• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling) of new and current systems
• Expertise in a programming language such as Python or Java, and associated tooling (Git, Maven, IDEs, Jenkins, Bitbucket etc.) is required.
• Experience of the full lifecycle of design, implementation and running of enterprise software solutions involving cross functional team collaboration
• Experience using Container Image Scanning platforms and tooling
• Expertise with DevOps, CI/CD and agile methodology
• Experience of security fundamentals with relation to a k8s platform and DevSecOps a plus
