Security Engineer

As a Security Engineer at KAYAK, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies to implement industry-leading security practices. Note, this role will be required to work from our Concord, MA office at least 3 days per week.

In this role, you will:

• Implement security improvements in our endpoint, on prem and cloud IT environments.
• Monitor for and investigate potential security incidents.
• Conduct regular scanning/auditing of critical components.
• Contribute to security incident response playbooks.
• Help manage and implement the latest state of the art security tools.

Please apply if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Computer Science/Engineering.
• Strong analytical thinking.
• Strong technical background with proficiency in at least one of:
  • Systems administration
  • Network design and configuration
  • Incident response
  • Security analytics
  • Scripting
• Working knowledge of Linux, OS X and Windows Server operating systems and computer networking.
• Experience with cloud computing and security, preferably AWS.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response, IDS, Email Security, IAM, SIEM, SOAR tools.
