The IS Program Manager Cybersecurity is responsible for successfully leading the strategic and tactical project and initiative delivery for the Cybersecurity IS tower programs, and provides leadership, coaching and mentoring to the respective project managers that align to the tower. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensures measures of success are defined with the business owners to track program and/or project value and outcomes.
  • Creates and owns stakeholder maps
  • Builds and owns communication plans 
  • Owns and gatekeeps project financial
  • Follows Tenet PMO methodologies to execute all projects. 
  • Resource assignments are planned efficiently and secured timely.
  • Stringent follow up and closure on issues and risks 
  • Manages and drives governance and decision making for all decision points and changes of programs especially large, complex and enterprise
  • Gatekeeps quality assurance is well planned and executed 
  • Solely responsible for ensuring cross functional integration of deliverables from other towers for programs
  • Drives a behavior of transparency, urgency, results, and escalation as appropriate in the program
  • Owns and uphold PMO methodology, governance, process, and improvement across the enterprise

Additional Responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Ownership of all projects within the dedicated IS tower.
  • Commit to lead projects hands-on throughout the entire project lifecycle, or delegate and coach project managers on project execution.
  • Serve as a point of project escalation. Pro-actively work across groups to mitigate risk and resolve issues. 
  • Ensure leaders are up to date and be the point of communication on initiatives. 
  • Stay abreast of other initiatives and operational work within the enterprise to develop a big-picture view.
  • Be cross functional and able to lead outside of assigned scope of work. 
  • Embed into IS tower with a big-picture view. Advise and align leaders on cross functional initiatives and operational impact. Create better efficiencies in how programs are delivered. 
  • Work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders, regardless of reporting structure.
  • Build partnerships across key stakeholder groups to ensure deep connection points for execution on initiatives. 
  • Pro-actively review performance and define continuous improvement with reporting manager on regular cadence.

Requirements include the following:

Education and Experience

  • 3 – 5 years as a strategic Program Manager of progressively more complex and large scale initiatives preferred
  • Solid Cybersecurity system implementation experience 
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles
  • An industry standard process management certification is preferred.  (College degree of same specialty may be substituted) Example certifications such as:
    • Project Management Institute’s Project Management or Agile Professional
    • Lean Six Sigma
  • A bachelor’s degree in project management, healthcare or computer science is preferred. Related job experience may substituted

Compensation

  • Pay: $108,784 - $173,680 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience. 
  • Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-25% depending on role level. 
  • Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
