Job Description

Join our Cyber Security team and be part of transforming our digital experience and delivering innovative capabilities for Nine. We offer a flexible working environment in a culturally diverse and high functioning team. You will work alongside other members of the Cyber Security Engineering team who are responsible for researching, architecting and implementing Cyber Security capabilities for the Nine group. This is an entry level role, ideal for someone who has some exposure to cyber security tools and are looking to focus their career path in Cyber Security. Our new team member will be part of a culture which encourages open and collaborative communication and continuous learning.

Key accountabilities:

  • Embedding the standards and practices supporting Cyber Security
  • Being the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key cyber security tools
  • Uplift and mentor other support teams for L1 support of cyber security tools
  • Responding to system and/or network security breaches as required
  • Ensuring that the organisation's data and infrastructure are protected through appropriate security controls with alignment to Nine’s cyber risk management framework
  • Using appropriate ITIL tools including incident and change
  • Participation in on-call duties if required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Cyber Security, Information Security, Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field
  • 1 or more years experience in IT or equivalent
  • Exposure to supporting Cyber Security tools
  • Solid understanding of ITIL Processes
  • Exposure to network/cyber security and incident handling procedures
  • Coding and scripting knowledge and familiarity with Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, Windows)

Desirable

  • Cyber Security certifications
  • SME knowledge of advanced cybersecurity tools
