Your role

As our IT Security Architect, you are responsible - together with your colleagues - for developing, implementing, and enhancing the CIS-18 framework in the organization, while ensuring that security projects are effectively planned and executed.

In addition, you have a significant role in anticipating security requirements, managing key security initiatives, and aligning security strategies with business goals.

We expect you to have a structured and methodical approach, with project management experience to ensure that security initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with GN’s IT transformation goals.

The team you will be part of:

You will join a team of seven colleagues at our global HQ in Ballerup, Denmark. Our highly skilled and collaborative team works closely with other IT teams, our CISO, and key stakeholders across GN, cultivating an informal yet global work environment. You will report to Head of IT Security, Cathleen Rupf-van Hoften.

As part of IT Security & Network, we develop, support, and maintain core security technologies and processes, that serve as the foundation for IT security across GN. Our approach is built on a zero-trust model, leveraging innovative security solutions and partnerships with reputed vendors.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Continuously assess the current security posture, implementing improvements based on CIS-18 requirements.

• Manage agile security projects, ensuring timely delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.

• Anticipate future security requirements and take the initiative to implement measures.

• Develop and implement security strategies that align with business goals.

• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams and senior stakeholders to integrate security best practices into all IT initiatives.

• Support internal and external audits to assess security effectiveness.

• Contribute to security operations.

• Assist in forensic investigations and security breach mitigation.

• A structured and methodical approach to security-related tasks and project management.

• Rational and problem-solving skills and ability to assess security risks, propose solutions, and implement improvements.

• Collaboration & Communication – Ability to explain security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams.

• The ability to step forward, solution-oriented mindset to lead security initiatives.

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant IT security experience, minimum 3 years emphasis on CIS-18

• Experience implementing security frameworks in large organizations.

• Familiarity with Microsoft security technologies.

• Project management experience

• Candidates with CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications, knowledge of SCRUM, SAFe or similar agile methodologies, as well as experience with Azure Sentinel, ServiceNow, or managing security initiatives in cloud environments, are encouraged to apply.
