Job Summary

We seek an experienced Information Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst who will actively serve as the front line in protecting the global organization from cyber threats by detecting and responding to attacks.

The SOC Analyst will report directly to the Director of Information Security & Compliance based in Chicago, USA.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Participate in the investigation of and reporting on security-related incidents, including conducting forensic analysis and recommendation of corrective actions.
•Review alerts, triage emergent threats, and escalate severe incidents.
•Administer email protection tools and respond to phishing attacks.
•Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist with remediation.
•Monitor systems for anomalies and suspicious activity.
•Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge and skills in areas related to primary job assignment as well as General knowledge of current trends in Information Technology and Cyber Security.
•Develop business relationships with and earn the trust of customers and colleagues.
•Collaborate with team members on various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall security posture of the organization.
•Handle routine operational duties related to Information Security.
•Other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
•Completed at least a 2-year IT course in college or equivalent.
•At least 2+ years of relevant hands-on experience supporting the Information Security function within a professional environment.
•Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR software.
•Experience with Microsoft Defender portal, Microsoft Sentinel, and Tenable Nessus a plus.
•Familiarity with contemporary business technology, including Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 Applications, PC / server hardware, and TCP/IP networks.
•A cyber security certification is a plus.
•Ability to balance multiple time-sensitive priorities and work effectively under pressure.
•Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
•Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
•Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
•Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, with experience in troubleshooting technical issues.
•Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
•Willingness to work after hours and flexible shifts with the potential of working at least once a week in the Makati office or remotely.
