As compliance demands continue to rise, especially in our rapidly growing SaaS landscape, it is crucial for SimCorp to expand our team to meet these challenges. We are committed to embedding compliance across all teams and areas. This role is vital because it integrates legal and regulatory requirements into our operational processes while bringing an understanding of operational processes into the legal interpretations of regulatory and compliance requirements. The role empowers colleagues to seamlessly implement compliance within their daily work, integrating it in the least intrusive way to allow our operational teams to maintain productivity while adhering to necessary regulations.

We are looking for a Senior IT Compliance Specialist to join SimCorp’s SaaS Compliance Enablement team, based in Copenhagen. Our team currently consists of 10 people, including 4 student assistants, representing a diverse range of nationalities. As part of SimCorp’s rapidly growing SaaS Innovation team, which consists of approximately 100 employees, you will collaborate with colleagues from around the world across functions, locations, and time zones.

What you will be responsible for
- Research industry trends and compliance regulatory frameworks in close collaboration with our colleagues in the Group Information Security team.
- Facilitate effective collaboration with our DevOps teams to translate regulatory compliance into business relevant language
- Contributing in SaaS security and compliance strategies
- Participate in client conversations, projects and mitigation within cyber resilience and data compliance in close collaboration with our Group Information Security team.
- Monitoring incoming security and IT compliance requests.
- Monitor and maintain our SOC2 control framework.
- Collaborate with external and internal auditors.
What we value
Prior experience in IT security and compliance is not a requirement, but to be successful in this role, we expect that you:
- Hold a Master's Degree with a focus on regulatory changes and their business impact or similar.
- Have solid experience in IT compliance, primarily with SOC2 control framework.
- Understand DORA, NIS2, or CSA STAR Certification.
- Can navigate an international organization and build networks to facilitate knowledge sharing across different areas and departments.
- Are a skilled communicator with good interpersonal skills.
- Can work while organizing their own tasks and as part of a team.
- Have an engaged approach in reaching out to stakeholders and diligently research and learn independently.
