FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies (FDB) is seeking a dedicated IT Security Analyst to join our Security Operations (SecOps) team. You will play a crucial role in comprehensive security monitoring and management, contributing to the protection of our organization's digital assets across all our sites. FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies is a world leading Contract Development Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) serving customers in the pharmaceutical industry – from pre-clinical investigations to commercial GMP production.

The IT Security Analyst is an integral component of the Security Operations (SecOps) team, with responsibilities focused on protecting the organization's digital assets across all FDB's sites. The role involves continuous monitoring and analysis of security events using SIEM and EDR/XDR tools to detect threats proactively, leveraging indicators of compromise (IOC) for effective incident investigation and response. Additionally, the analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement remediation strategies and refine security protocols, enhancing the organization's defense capabilities. 

The Security Analyst influences the organization’s security posture, reducing risks through proactive monitoring and response, fostering team collaboration to implement stronger security measures across all sites. The role supports decision-making processes related to security issues, applying best practices and using advanced tools to efficiently anticipate and mitigate threats organization-wide. 

The position is hybrid but located in Hillerød, Denmark.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Secuirty Monitoring Analysis: Security, continuously monitor SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms to detect suspicious activities and events. Analyze data from various sources to identify and assess potential threats, ensuring effective real-time threat detection.
  • Incident Response and Investigation:  Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents and execute response strategies to neutralize threats. Coordinate with forensic experts to analyze and resolve incidents, identifying root causes and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Threat Intelligence Integration:  Utilize threat intelligence data to enhance detection capabilities and update security protocols. Stay informed about emerging threats to refine strategies and maintain proactive risk management.
  • Collaboration and Remediation Efforts:  Work closely with security and other internal teams to coordinate remediation efforts and improve security measures. Prioritize and implement remediation activities to address vulnerabilities and minimize risk exposure.
  • Reporting, Documentation, and Automation:  Develop and maintain reports on security incidents, including findings and actions taken. Develop and maintain documentation to support ongoing security operations. Leverage automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, and JSON to enhance operational efficiency and streamline security processes.
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proven experience with cybersecurity tools and concepts (SIEM, EDR/XDR, threat intelligence, IOC, incident response and automation techniques).
  • Experience with platforms like CrowdStrike is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using SIEM and EDR/XDR tools and threat intelligence platforms. 
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, IOC methodologies, and incident response techniques. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities. 
  • Experience in automation, such as PowerShell, Python, and JSON.
