Cloud IT Security Engineer

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE IS...

• Monitor, maintain and remediate security vulnerabilities across the HPP cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Work within a team to deliver remediations to complex technical vulnerabilities.
• Proactivity identify current and emerging security issues
• Design and implement solutions to any security issues identified within the business.

Have experience of…

• Vulnerability detection and scanning
• Vulnerability remediation across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Understanding complex technical issues and managing them within a fast-paced business environment
• Threat intelligence 
• Automation
• Cloud and on-premise infrastructure maintenance.

Demonstrate knowledge of…

• Data collection and data correlation of both on premise and cloud infrastructure into SIEM platforms
• Expertise in a range of security products including Vulnerability scanning, firewalls, networks, URL Filtering, EDR platforms, DLP Auditing and controls.

Hold these qualifications…

• Computer science / IT / business / technology degree or equivalent
• Desirable: certification, Formal Information security certification
