Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Intern to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. This internship will offer hands-on experience in the fast-evolving cybersecurity landscape and provide exposure to real-world challenges in safeguarding our company’s digital assets.Key Responsibilities:Assist in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security threats and vulnerabilities across the company’s systems.Support in the management and monitoring of security tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software).Help perform routine security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk assessments to improve overall security posture.Participate in incident response processes by assisting in investigating security breaches and documenting findings.Collaborate with the team to improve security policies and procedures.Conduct research to stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.Assist with the development and implementation of security awareness programs for employees.Assist with penetration testing, threat analysis, and network monitoring tasks as needed.Help with documentation and reporting for various cybersecurity initiatives.
Qualifications
Qualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Network Engineering, or a related field.Strong interest in cybersecurity and information protection.Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S).Familiarity with common cybersecurity tools and techniques (e.g., firewalls, antivirus software, encryption).Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and network architecture.Experience with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.
